He holds extensive educational qualifications including MBBS, MS (General Surgery), DNB, and MCh (Surgical Oncology).
Dr. Zaidi has made significant contributions to the field, developing a new technique for marginal mandibular nerve preservation in Head and Neck cancer surgery, published in an American ‘Journal of Surgical Oncology’ in 2007.
His expertise extends to various areas of surgical oncology, including Thoracic Cancer, Gastrointestinal Cancer, Breast Cancer, Complex Gynecologic Oncology, and more.
Dr. Zaidi completed fellowships in Minimally Invasive Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) from Oita University Hospital, Japan, and Robotic Cancer Surgery from IRCAD Strasbourg, France.
He serves as a Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centre, Delhi, and is also the National Board-certified teacher and Academic Coordinator for DNB, guiding young surgeons.
Dr. Zaidi’s specialized areas of focus include PIPAC (Pressurized Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), Composite resection or Commando Surgery, and treatment of various cancers like Breast, Liver, Pancreatic, Rectum, Gallbladder, and Thyroid Cancer.
